Finnish HR services firm VMP Plc reported turnover yesterday of €31.1 million for the third quarter ended 30 September 2018, an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year.
VMP has a comprehensive offering of staffing, recruiting and organisational development, and self-employment services.

The group said that revenue during the third quarter was boosted by its staffing business, which reported growth of 14.3% when compared to the previous year.
"VMP's net sales continued to grow in the third quarter,” President of VMP, Juha Pesola, said. “The growth in net sales continued to be good in staffing and self-employment. According to my estimation, we have continued to grow in line with our target.”
“During the current year, our profitability has been at a good level. Our adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter was still good, but did not reach the previous year's level. The comparative period was very strong due to higher than normal demand for recruiting services.”

In trading yesterday, VMP shares closed at €4.01, down 15.04% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €59.34 million.
