Finnish staffing and recruitment firm StaffPoint announced that it has acquired Valtti Personnel Solutions, an HR services firm based in Finland.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

Valtti operates mainly in the Pirkanmaa region in Finland, just north of Helsinki, provides personnel leasing for the industrial, real estate and office sectors. In 2018, the company reported net sales of €3.3 million.

Valtti mainly operates in Pirkanmaa and thus strengthens the presence of our Group in the region. Valtti brings us more expertise in understanding the operations of small and medium-sized companies in the local market.”

President and CEO of Valtti, Laura Helasjoki-Ristimäki, also commented, “I believe that through the merger, our existing customers and our temporary employees will get better service because of the new clientele. StaffPoint Group's digital tools and broader expert resources will help us grow our business further.”

Helasjoki-Ristimäki will continue as Customer Relationship Manager, responsible for the management of Valti's customer relationships and sales to new SME customers in Pirkanmaa and its surrounding areas.

StaffPoint was founded in 1971 and is headquartered in Helsinki and has offices in Estonia and Spain.
