Staffing and outsourcing provider Yoh announced Simon Claridge as managing director of its European operations. Claridge most recently served as senior VP of European operations for US-based staffing firm On Assignment’s Lab Support, LabResources and Valesta divisions.

Yoh ranks No. 64 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest global staffing and recruitment firms. The firm is based in the US.

Claridge’s previous experience includes serving at recruitment firms Stamford Consultants and Key People Ltd, managing European life sciences practices across Western and Central Europe including London, Switzerland and Benelux countries.

“Simon’s experience in recruitment and life sciences brings our UK operations a new leader and tenured executive who will continue to build on Yoh’s success in the UK and Europe,” said Yoh President Emmett McGrath. “I’m confident his knowledge of the industry and track record of growing businesses in Europe will have an immediate impact on our current operations and growth strategy for the UK and beyond.”

Claridge will focus on UK operations and overall strategy for European expansion. He will also work to expand Yoh’s customer base and delivery capability for European and US customers with operations in Europe.
