French staffing firm Groupe DLSI announced that, through its subsidiary Pemsa has acquired MBT AG, a Switzerland-based recruitment agency focused on the electrical and technical sectors.

The effective date of the acquisition is 12 August 2019. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

In 2018, MBT AG reported turnover of CHF 5 million (€4.6 million).

Pemsa stated that the acquisition will enable it to exceed CHF 65 million (€59.8 million) in turnover.

MBT’s core activity is the recruiting and consulting of trained personnel in temporary and permanent jobs, with emphasis on technical, craft, as well as commercial and IT professions.

DLSI added that by establishing itself in the city of Zürich, it opens up new growth prospects.

“This new operation in 2019 confirms the group's ambitions to become a major player in temporary work and recruitment on the Swiss market,” DLSI stated.

Last month, DLSI reported revenue on Friday for the second quarter ended 30 June 2019 of €59.7 million.
