Amazon warehouse workers are planning to stage protests against working conditions in coordinated protests across Europe today on Black Friday, reports Business Insider. In the UK, the biggest protest is set to take place at Rugeley, near Birmingham, with upward of 100 people expected to attend. The GMB had planned to attend the protests but have withdrawn support after a legal threat from courier DPD. GMB represents DPD workers and the company said a walkout could disrupt deliveries and lead to losses for DPD. Meanwhile, Amazon Spain said around 90% of workers at a logistics depot in near Madrid joined in the walkout. Protests were also reported due in Germany and France.
