According to Danish job board, Jobindex, there were 20,400 new jobs posted online in June, an increase of 300 compared to May and 1,200 compared to April.

Jobindex’s July 2016 report states: “Instead of focusing on the monthly fluctuations in job adverts, which may well be as a result of chance, it is worth noting that the level of jobs advertised on Jobindex has remained largely unchanged over a long period of time. A level of 19,000 to 20,500 jobs per month is nice without being flashy. Although the level is not impressive, it is worth noting that the job ads still indicates employment growth”.

Despite growth in the number of new jobs advertised online in recent years, there is still some way until pre-crisis levels are reached. There was, before the financial crisis struck, over 30,000 new jobs posted online every month.
