Denmark – Jobindex reports Q1 revenue up 16%

Jobindex A/S (JOBNDX: CPH), the Danish job board, has reported revenue for the first quarter ending 31 March 2017 of DKK 78 million (€10.4 million), an increase of 16% compared with DKK 67.3 million (€9.0 million) during the same quarter last year.

There were 65 working days in the first quarter of 2017 against 61 in the first quarter of 2016, and adjusted for this growth is 9%. Jobindex Group states that it expects a turnover of DKK 300 million (€40.3 million) for the full year of 2017.

Jobindex’s 'advertising products reached a turnover of DKK 51 million (€6.8 million), up from DKK 42 million (€5.6 million) over the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Jobindex's Recruitment products generated sales of DKK 9 million (€1.2 million) in Q1 against DKK 7 million (€0.9 million) last year. The company states that Recruitment products are the fastest growing part of Jobindex and an important part of the strategy.

Jobbsafari, Jobindex’s core job board, generated turnover of DKK 2.8 million (€0.3 million) up 16% against DKK 2.4 million (€0.3 million) last year. Computerworld had a turnover of DKK 7 million (€0.9 million) in Q1 2017, same as Q1 2016. IT jobbank generated sales of DKK 4.5 million (€0.6 million) in Q1 2017 against DKK 4.9 million (€0.6 million). StepStone generated sales of DKK 3.9 million (€0.5 million), down from DKK 4.5 million (€0.6 million).

As of last trade, Jobindex traded at DKK 1,600.0 (€215.0), down 0.62% on the day and 20.3% above the 52-week low of DK 1,330.0 (€178.7) set on 8 March 2017. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of DKK 1.45 billion (€194.8 million).
