Czech Republic – Majority of firms plan to invest in new technologies

Approximately 85% of Czech companies are planning to invest in the next six months, according to survey data from HR firm Antal International.

The survey, which polled more than 700 companies, also showed that 75% of Czech companies are planning to invest in new technologies. Meanwhile, 80% of companies plan to create new job positions and 60% want to spend more money on employee development. One fifth of Czech businesses have expansion plans within the country during the next six months.

“The high share of firms with investment plans shows they are faring well and are optimistic about their future,” Anna Sefcikova, head of Antal International for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, said.
