Belgium – Number of hours worked by temp workers increases in June

Compared to June of the previous year, the number of hours worked by temporary workers grew by 3.60% compared to 3.68% according to seasonally adjusted data from Federgon, the Belgian Federation of Staffing Agencies. The number of hours worked worked by blue collar workers increased by 3.31% while the number of hours worked by white collar workers increased by 4.01%.

Compared to the prior month, the number of hours worked by temporary workers decreased by 1.46% from the previous month.

The Federgon index reached 253.8 point in June 2016 against 257.6 points in May. This index reflects the level of activity during the month studied compared to the base month (100 points) of January 1995 (seasonally adjusted).
