Compared to March last year, the Belgian staffing sector recorded an increase of 5.81% in the number of hours worked by temporary agency workers. This compares to a 6.23% increase seen in February 2018 compared to February 2017. The seasonally and calendar-adjusted data is provided by Federgon, the organisation that represents staffing firms in Belgium.
Compared to February 2018, the number of hours worked in March fell slightly by 0.55%.. Hours worked fell 0.40% among blue collar workers and 0.76% among white collar workers.
The Federgon index reached 117.0 points in March 2018 compared with 117.7 points the previous month (January 2007 = 100).
