Go2 People, a provider of vertically integrated recruitment and building services throughout Australia and New Zealand, announced that it has appointed a new managing director as two non-executive directors resigned from the company.

The company has appointed Shawn Murphy, group CEO of Go2, to the role of managing director with immediate effect.

Murphy has been the Chief Executive Officer of Go2 subsidiary Skill Hire since August 2020 and subsequently Go2, following the entity’s acquisition in 2021. He has held Executive Roles for companies such as Sonic Healthcare, Covermore Insurance and Tecside Group in both Perth and Sydney.

The company also announced that Sophie Ray and Susan Hansen have submitted their resignations as Non- Executive Directors, effective immediately.

John Manning will assume the role of the Audit and Risk Committee Chair and Darren Cooper has been appointed as Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

The company faced issues last year when it was forced to settle proceedings related to an alleged unfair preference claim.
