Augias Flex to take majority interest in Dutch employment agency Workfix

17 October 2023

Netherlands-based temporary employment specialist Augias Flex announced it will acquire a majority of the shares in Workfix, an employment agency specialised in providing logistics and transport staff.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The takeover strengthens Rotterdam-based Augias Flex’s position in the temporary employment market. Augias Flex has previously acquired Zuidgeest and Adequate Personeel, and it said its aim is to continue its plans for more acquisitions.

Workfix, founded in 2017, will continue to exist under its own name. The acquisition will also give the company the opportunity to grow further, the company added.

“From now on we will use the Augias Flex organisation,” Workfix stated. “More than 300 specialists in the field of HR, recruitment, finance, legal, marketing and sales work there with the most advanced systems. This opportunity allows us to remain healthy and successful, so that we can continue to grow in the coming years.”

Daan Beekers, co-owner of Workfix said, “For us, the partial takeover by Augias Flex is a fantastic opportunity. We thought a lot about the continuity of our employment agency and a good strategy for the future. Augias Flex gives us more financial security and support. This makes it possible to remain healthy and successful, so that we can continue to grow and expand in the coming years. We are firmly convinced that we will make great strides together.”

Augias Flex was founded by temporary employment software solutions firm JEX and fully or partially acquires companies that are active in the flexible labour market in the Netherlands. Augias stated that its focus now is on organisations with turnover figures between €5 and €15 million.
