Africa – Airswift expands to Mauritania, opens office in Uganda

10 October 2017

Global workforce solutions company Airswift announced that it has opened Mauritania’s first global energy workforce solutions office for the energy industry.

The Mauritanian office begins operations on the same day as the launch of Airswift’s Ugandan office in Kampala. This brings the firm’s total number of African offices to eight.

“We’re on a mission to ensure that both our customers and contractors have a global workforce solutions partner they can trust, wherever they are,” Richard Clay, ‎Business Development Director, Africa at Airswift, said. “These new offices are a major step forward in our endeavour to match the right people to the right roles – safely, compliantly and efficiently – anywhere in Africa.”

“We’re living in a tremendously exciting time for the African energy industry, with huge potential for growth all across the region,” Ford Garrard, Senior VP, Airswift, Europe and Africa, said. Not least in Mauritania, which is seeing major new oil developments – both on-and-offshore. We’re delighted at this opportunity to grow as we support our clients wherever the need arises.”

Peter Searle, CEO of Airswift, was present at SIA’s Executive Forum Europe where he also spoke about the company’s global expansion plans.
