Adevinta (ADE:OSL), a provider of online classified advert websites, announced on 14 September that it closed on the sale of its Jófogás web site in Hungary to Ingatlan.com. Jófogás provides classified adverts for jobs, real estate and cars. The sale was part of a move by Adevintas to focus on operations in Benelux, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

“We are pleased to have found the right local buyer in Ingatlan.com, who are extremely experienced in Hungary and well positioned to create strong growth opportunities for their online classifieds business over the long term,” Adevinta CEO Antoine Jouteau said in a press release. “The completion of the divestiture of our Hungarian marketplaces is another important milestone in the optimisation of our portfolio and the execution of our Growing at Scale strategy, as we continue to focus on our five European markets.”

Other sites sold to Ingatlan.com alongside Jófogás were Használtautó.hu, a vehicle advertising site, and Autónavigátor, which provides car reviews and news.

The impact of the sale of the Hungarian businesses on Adevinta’s financials is immaterial, according to the company.
