Adecco Italy taps Angelo Lo Vecchio as new country president

Adecco Italy announced it appointed Angelo Lo Vecchio as its new country president with effect from 1 May 2024.

Andrea Malacrida, former country manager of Adecco Italia, will leave the Adecco Group to undertake new challenges.

Lo Vecchio joined Adecco in 2001 and has held numerous roles on three continents. After spending 12 years in Italy (the last as managing director of Adecco Staffing) he took on the role of country manager for Adecco India in 2014.

Since 2018 he has been leading the Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa region. Over the past six years, he has played an integral role in enhancing Adecco’s services in 18 countries. He has led several teams of over 20 nationalities, fostering their growth and success.

Lo Vecchio will focus on galvanising Adecco 's talent in Italy and expanding international synergies, keeping customers at the heart of the company's strategy. Lo Vecchio will work in Milan and in his new role he will report directly to Christophe Catoir, President of Adecco GBU. He will also continue to be part of the Adecco GBU Global Leadership Team.
