SIA Announces 2023 ‘Best Staffing Firms to Work For’

Teamwork, Trust in Senior Leaders, Diversity & Inclusion, Benefits among key measures of worker engagement for winning firms  

Mountain View, California – March 8, 2023 – Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workforce solutions, announced winners of the 2023 Best Staffing Firms to Work For today during its Executive Forum North America conference in Miami Beach. The Best Staffing Firms to Work For 2023 awards are sponsored by Sense.

The winners comprise those companies that had the highest scores of the contest categories, and the Grand Prize Winners reflect the highest scoring organizations.  

  • Roth Staffing Companies, L.P. ranked first for the second year in a row for North American staffing firms with over 500 employees
  • ALKU was named the leading organization for the fourth year in a row for firms with 201-500 employees
  • Cell Staff took the top spot for firms with 51-200 employees 
  • Averity Holdings, Inc. was the top scoring firm for the second year in a row for companies with 21- 50 employees
  • LEADSTACK INC. took the first position for firms with 10-20 employees
  • Tek Ninjas was named as the Best Staffing Firm to Temp For grand prize winner 

 For staffing firms in the United Kingdom: 

  • Astute Technical Recruitment Ltd landed the leading position for over 50 employees
  • Fintelligent Search Ltd secured the grand prize for firms with 10 to 50 employees 

For staffing firms in Ireland:

  • Sigmar Recruitment took the first position for over 50 employees
  • Approach People Recruitment secured the top spot for firms with 10 to 50 employees 

“Being recognized on industry lists for your work as a company is always an honor. But that honor is even higher when your own workers’ ratings place you on those lists. That is the case for SIA’s Best Staffing Firms to Work For, where employees and temps provide the data for our rankings,” said Barry Asin, president of SIA. “We cannot be happier for the 2023 honorees and the great company cultures they have created, and we are excited to help elevate the industry by highlighting best practices in employee engagement and retention.” 

A record 450 firms sought participation in the program this year, which was conducted by SIA in conjunction with Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, NE-based company. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete an online survey that measured key engagement categories, focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, diversity and inclusion, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. Key findings from the survey results are covered in SIA’s industry research.

In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of participation. Companies were ranked in each size category according to their overall score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results. There is no charge for participation and companies completing the survey receive a report highlighting their firm’s results. 

A recognition event to honor the winning firms takes place as part of the annual Executive Forum North America. The Best Staffing Firms To Work/Temp For website will debut the 2023 winners later this month, and companies are featured in the March/April issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine.
