SIA’s Annual ‘Staffing 100 Europe’ List Unveiled

Leaders Recognised for Elevating the Workforce Solutions Ecosystem

Mountain View, California & London, UK — 03 September 2019 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has unveiled its 2019 list of the 100 most influential European staffing leaders.

This annual list recognises a diverse group of individuals whose contributions elevate the ecosystem. The Staffing 100 Europe List is sponsored by Bullhorn.

The list is not a ranking but rather a selection of notable individuals whose accomplishments bring benefits to the industry and to their clients as well as to millions of job seekers. This dynamic group is comprised of executives from across the industry, including CEOs, strategists, technologists and reformers. The list based on the impact and influence individuals have had on the workforce solutions ecosystem and in navigating a complex landscape and competitive industry.

“The 2019 Staffing 100 Europe honourees bring acumen and vision together as they take on today’s business-related challenges, against a backdrop of political uncertainty, Brexit, youth unemployment, immigration and economic fluctuations,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA. “As they launch new programmes, undertake geographic expansions, invest in technology and innovation, their commitment and passion are laudable, with their contributions helping shape a market worth an estimated EUR 172 billion in 2018. We extend our congratulations to all this year’s honourees.”

This year’s honorees hail from across European staffing markets, with representation from 14 countries. Twenty-three women were named to the 2019 list, up from 20 last year, with increasing market awareness for diversity and workplace inclusion potentially having an impact on the visibility of female leaders and the existing gender gap.

"As the recruitment industry continues to evolve, increased representation is a key to reflecting the diversity of the workforce itself," said Peter Linas, EVP of Corporate Development and International at Bullhorn. "The greater number of women on this year's SIA's Staffing 100 Europe list is a welcome sign that this progress continues. Bullhorn is pleased to support all of these leaders as they navigate challenges and take our entire industry on a continued path of innovation.”

The Staffing 100 Europe website debuts the 2019 list this week. Those named to the list are being honoured during SIA’s Executive Forum Europe: Breakthrough Leadership, taking place 19-20 November in London. The list, along with the full profiles of those recognised, is also featured in the Autumn 2019 print and online editions of Staffing Industry Review Europe.
