Kelly Services announces departures of two execs

October 31, 2014

Kelly Services Inc. (NASD: KELYA), one of the world’s largest staffing firms, reported Senior VP and Chief Innovation Officer Rolf Kleiner resigned from the company to pursue other opportunities. In addition, Michael Webster, executive VP and general manager, Americas and global solutions, will retire at the end of the year.

Both exits are related to the management simplification restructuring plan announced this week.

Kleiner joined the company in 1995 and launched its scientific staffing unit, which is now the second-largest provider of scientific talent in the US. He was Kelly’s GM for international operations for seven years, and then took over KellyOCG, the company’s outsourcing and consulting solutions group. Kleiner was appointed to his current position in Late 2011. He is listed on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the 100 most influential people in the industry.

Webster was named to the executive VP position in 2009. He is responsible for the operations, administration, and finance of commercial, professional and technical staffing in the Americas region, which includes the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Brazil. Webster joined Kelly in 1996 as vice president of sales, corporate accounts. In his tenure with the company, Webster has directed Kelly’s global sales, service and marketing division and overseen the development of the professional, technical, and staffing alternatives groups.

Kelly is the fifth-largest US staffing firm and seventh-largest global staffing firm.
