Firm Acquires Staffing Contracts, Consultants

April 20, 2012

Digital Intelligence Systems Corp., a McLean, Va.-based provider of information technology staffing, announced the acquisition of live staffing contracts once belonging to Conversion Services International Inc. (CSI), a shuttered information management and business services provider based in East Hanover, N.J. Financial terms were not disclosed.

As part of the acquisition, the firm will absorb CSI’s staffing contracts, which fall mainly in the information management and data warehousing sectors, with clients such as Morgan Stanley, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson and Mercedes Benz. The company will also absorb 40 to 50 of CSI’s former consultants.

“The client list we acquired is fairly complementary to our existing portfolio,” said Digital Intelligence Systems CEO Mahfuz Ahmed. “Also, the expertise of the consultants we’ve brought falls in line with our focus as a company, so we will be able to assimilate the people we’ve brought in without much disruption.”

CSI’s assets had been seized by its secured lender, Access Capital Inc. As a result of the asset seizure, dated March 27 in an official press release, CSI terminated the employment of all of its employees and ceased operations.
