The Census Bureau reported the U.S. employment services industry had revenue of $62.00 billion in the first quarter. That’s down 1.9 percent from the fourth quarter of 2012 and down 0.7 percent from the first quarter of 2012. The estimate is based on seasonally adjusted numbers.

Employment services include employment placement agencies, executive search firms, temporary employment agencies and professional employer organizations.
