Transforce makes acquisitions, forms new parent company

TransForce Inc., a nationwide truck-driver staffing firm headquartered in Alexandria, Va., acquired regional staffing agency USA Drivers.

TransForce is included on SIA’s list of largest industrial staffing firms in the US. The deal follows January’s acquisitions of Drive360 Logistics, a transportation recruitment firm targeting truck drivers and diesel mechanics, and Miami-based The CDL School, a commercial truck driving school.

USA Drivers provides truck driver staffing, recruitment and leasing in the Southeast and Indiana, and has been providing CDL truck drivers to motor carriers for more than 20 years. It is headquartered in metro Atlanta, with additional offices in Birmingham, Ala.; Charlotte, NC; and South Bend, Ind.

The transaction closed this month; terms were not disclosed. USA Drivers will be absorbed and operate as TransForce Inc. USA Drivers’ executives will not remain with the company.

TransForce Inc. recently formed the TransForce Group, its new parent company.

“The acquisition of USA Drivers further enhances TransForce’s presence and capabilities in the Southeast,” said TransForce Group President and CEO David Broome.

USA Drivers, headquartered in Atlanta, will now be managed and operated by TransForce Inc., which plans continued growth through the purchase of regional driver staffing firms.
