BelFlex Staffing Network last week announced its acquisition of the consumer and food division of YourEncore.
“BelFlex has been exploring diversifying its service offerings and the CPG market is very attractive because it not only aligns with our core business, but also has strong growth potential going into 2021 and beyond,” BelFlex CEO Jason McCaw said.
While the deal closed March 1, BelFlex has known and worked with the former leaders of YourEncore for several years, McCaw stated.
YourEncore’s consumer and food division provides staffing of professionals in several categories, including research and development, manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain and other technical disciplines. The company has a network of more than 9,600 expert consultants, and they work with more than 150 consumer and food companies.
The expert consultants operate as W-2 employees, a small percentage prefer to work as 1099 contractors via established LLCs.
The deal includes just the consumer and food division of YourEncore. The full company YourEncore was acquired on Dec. 31, 2020 by Advarra; however, the founders of YourEncore had retained the consumer and food division. The plan was to find the best partnership to transition the control and support of the business.
YourEncore’s co-founders, Tim Tichenor and Brad Lawson, will work with BelFlex as executive advisors.

Amy Langston, BelFlex’s division director of professional services, will lead the division under Belflex
Joining BelFlex from YourEncore are Rich Leeper, account manager, handling client and consultant relationships, and Barb Henderson, VMS billing specialist, responsible for onboarding consultants.
BelFlex is based in Cincinnati and ranks on SIA’s list of largest industrial staffing firms in the US.
