People: SThree CEO, ALKU president, Impellam exec

SThree appointed Timo Lehne as CEO, Alku named Andrew Bull as its president and Impellam Group named Nathan “Nate” O’Keeffe as president of SRG in North America.

SThree

SThree plc, a UK-based global staffing firm focused on STEM skills, in April appointed Timo Lehne as CEO with immediate effect. Lehne had been named interim CEO in January, and he previously served as senior managing director of SThree’s largest region covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“Having worked on a thorough and extensive search process, reviewing both internal and external candidates, the board is delighted to appoint Timo as permanent CEO,” said James Bilefeld, nonexecutive chair at SThree. “As Interim CEO, he has shown strategic thinking, drive and passion, drawing on his extensive experience, and we are entirely confident that he is the best person to take the business forward.”

Lehne has been with the company for 16 years. He took over the CEO role from Mark Dorman, who left in December.

Alku

Alku, an IT and life sciences staffing provider based in Andover, Massachusetts, named Andrew Bull as its president.

Bull has held several leadership roles at Alku after joining the company as an intern. He is responsible for co-founding the life sciences group and the strategic vision of the government groups, including investigating new markets and business lines as well as overseeing all revenue-generating activities.

As president, Bull will head overall revenue operations and strategy, including the management of the other business leaders, client and consultant plans and the execution of all operations.

Impellam

Global staffing firm Impellam Group named Nathan “Nate” O’Keeffe as president of SRG in North America, a provider of STEM staffing.

“Nate was a clear frontrunner in our search for a new president based upon his proven track record and commitment to building a strong culture with a ‘people first’ focus,” said Danny Cohen, managing director of Impellam’s STEM brands in the US.

O’Keeffe joins Impellam from Alku, where he most recently served as senior VP, responsible for the oversight and direction of all personnel training and development. He had spent 11 years at Alku.

O’Keeffe will be based in Woburn, Massachusetts.
