Drishticon Inc., a Fremont, California-based IT services and business solutions provider with offices in Mumbai, India, acquired Commercial Programming Systems Inc., an IT staffing provider based in Los Angeles.

“Our acquisition of Commercial Programming Systems will strengthen Drishticon’s position as a premier IT services and consulting company and will expand our geographic footprint to Southern California,” said Drishticon President Manoj Vidyarthi. “CPS’ expertise in servicing the public sector will also complement Drishticon’s own considerable capabilities in its focus industries of retail and high tech.”

Commercial Programming Systems, founded in 1978, is focused on the public sector, financial services, healthcare and entertainment industries.

“The acquisition will enable Commercial Programming Systems to offer a wider range of services to both existing and new clients and will position CPS for further growth,” Commercial Programming Systems President Philip Sawyer said.

Drishticon was founded in 2006.
