Singapore-based firm gets US foothold with investment in AGS Tek Partners

Singapore-based IT consulting firm Kris Infotech announced its acquisition of a 60% stake in Colorado-based IT consultancy and staffing firm AGS Tek Partners. The transaction provides Kris Infotech with a foothold for expansion plans into the US market and the rest of North America.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Senior VP Barani Kumaresan, from Singapore, will be responsible for all operational decisions of AGS Tek Partners, executing the company’s strategy and scaling up operations of AGS Tek Partners.

AGS Tek Partners has provided IT services and solutions for more than five years, including technology consulting, on-demand on-site staffing, permanent placements and software training services.

“We are thrilled to add AGS Tek Partners into our fold,” said Reem D’Souza, head of business and investor of Kris Infotech. “Their expertise and experience in delivering IT resourcing and training services in the US over many years is immensely valuable and will serve as a launchpad for our own growth plans.”

Kris Infotech provides a range of IT services including technology consulting, advisory in emerging tech and IT talent solutions. Established in 2006 by Rajeev Srivastava, the company currently counts more than 150 professionals with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand and the US; it also supports customers in Vietnam, Philippines, and Australia.
