Private equity acquires majority stake in All Star Healthcare Solutions

Private equity investment firm Knox Lane acquired a majority stake in All Star Healthcare Solutions, a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based healthcare staffing firm focused on locum tenens and direct job opportunities for physicians.

Plans call for All Star’s founders and management team to reinvest alongside Knox Lane and continue to own a significant minority stake in the organization.

“All Star has a deeply experienced management team with a proven, consistent track record of growth, and we are pleased to partner with another high-quality, founder-owned business,” Knox Lane Managing Partner John Bailey said in a press release.

The partnership, announced on May 2, aims to expand All Star’s consultant base, direct sales force and specialty-focused production teams as well as increase investment in technology and develop strategic acquisitions.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Knox Lane to build on the momentum across our business and enter our next chapter of growth,” All Star CEO and president Ken Bernstein said in a press release.

Founded in 2003, All Star Healthcare Solutions ranks No. 62 on SIA’s list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US. Its customer base includes more than 150 hospital systems and more than 400 healthcare facilities.
