Global staffing firm Impellam Group plc announced that it completed the sale of its healthcare staffing and specialist staffing businesses to Twenty20 Capital for cash consideration of £85 million (US$102.2 million).

The healthcare staffing business included Medacs Global Group operations in the UK, Ireland and Asia Pacific.

“This strategic realignment enables us to focus our investments on the delivery of digitally enabled, multi-disciplinary workforce and specialist recruitment solutions to our customers in the UK and Europe, North America and AsiaPac,” CEO Julia Robertson said.

The specialist staffing business included the UK brands Tate, Blue Arrow Group, Chadwick Nott and Career Teachers.

Impellam also announced that it expects to report annual gross profit to be up 23.7% year over year to £315 million (US$378.8 million).
