StaffDNA identifies major shifts in candidate trends — Promoted

StaffDNA has delivered its latest Candidate Blueprint Index (CBI), which provides real-time data detailing the employment preferences of healthcare candidates nationwide. Data is obtained from a snapshot of nursing and allied health professionals who registered through the StaffDNA platform during the month of January.

The big shift, over 45% of candidates’ interests focused on travel assignments. The states with the biggest interests were Florida (25%), California (24%), Texas (22%), Tennessee (15%) and Georgia (13%). Only 8% interest was registered in the remaining states.

StaffDNA candidates can select multiple employment preferences, including state and job type. The top five states that candidates chose remained consistent. Generally, states with warmer climates were preferred, with Florida (14%), California (10%), Texas (10%), Georgia (7%) and New York (6%) being the top choices.

Candidates sought the following job types:

  1. Travel: 45%
  2. Local Contracts: 20%
  3. Permanent: 23%
  4. Per Diem: 12%
