Airswift acquires Energy Resourcing, a staffing division of Worley’s

Airswift, the fourth-largest global engineering staffing firm, acquired Energy Resourcing, a staffing division of Worley’s, which is a Sydney-based company that provides engineering services in the energy and chemical industries globally.

Energy Resourcing serves the energy sector and has 11 offices in nine countries, including the US, Australia and Europe.

“Energy Resourcing is a perfect match for Airswift — together we are one of the world’s largest and best-connected workforce solutions providers and will offer clients access to greater pools of talent and expertise, wherever they operate,” Airswift Chief Executive Janette Marx said in a press release.

Plans called for Airswift to integrate Energy Resourcing into its existing brand, systems and processes.

“We’re delighted to sign this deal today,” Ryan Hill, managing director at Energy Resourcing, said in a press release. “It’s a move that will not only enrich our offering for our clients, contractors and candidates but also will provide more opportunity for our people to develop their careers across a more varied client base.”

Airswift has corporate hubs in Houston; Manchester, England; and Singapore. It has a network of more than 60 offices across the globe. Airswift is a portfolio company of private equity firms Reiten & Co. and Wellspring Capital Management LLC.

“This acquisition allows Airswift to accelerate its rapid growth by its continued STEM service offerings across a broader geographic range, as we know that access to talent is a key focus for our clients across all industries,” Bård Ingerø, managing partner at Reiten & Co., said in a press release. “Airswift has strong financial backing from both the investor and bond markets today, and the combined size of the company opens further options for securing attractive funding opportunities in the future.”
