American CyberSystems Inc. completed its acquisition of Volt Information Sciences Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: VOLT) through its Vega Consulting Inc. affiliate at a purchase price of $6 per share.
“We are pleased to welcome Volt into our family of companies,” said Raj Sardana, CEO of ACS.
ACS and Volt first announced the deal in March. Volt ranks as the 26th-largest US staffing firm while ACS ranks as the 19th-largest. Volt also ranks No. 22 on the list of largest engineering staffing firm in the US.
“As we begin to write the next chapter in Volt’s story, we are excited to leverage this new affiliation for innovative solutions and growth in all aspects of our business,” said Linda Perneau, president and CEO at Volt.
With the deal, Volt is longer a publicly traded company, effective April 26.
