ZipRecruiter revenue up 6.7% in Q3

ZipRecruiter Inc. (NYSE: ZIP) reported third-quarter revenue rose 6.7% to $226.9 million, with increases in the number of employers and job seekers in its marketplace. However, net income fell at the Santa Monica, California-based company.

Overall, the company noted demand for labor continued to ease in the US, despite resiliency in the healthcare, travel and retail sectors.

“ZipRecruiter delivered another strong quarter of growth and profitability in Q3 2022, performing ahead of our expectations,” said CEO Ian Siegel.

Guidance

ZipRecruiter forecast fourth-quarter revenue at the midpoint f $206 million, a 6% increase.

Share price and market cap

Shares in ZipRecruiter were up 15.82% to $16.88 as of 12:02 p.m. Eastern time today; they were 22.46% above their 52-week low, according to FT.com. ZipRecruiter had a market cap of $1.66 billion.
