Volt adds former Adecco execs to Volt Workforce Solutions

August 23, 2018

Volt Information Sciences Inc. (NYSE MKT: VISI) added two executives to Volt Workforce Solutions: Lori Schultz as COO and Lauren Griffin as senior VP, specialty solutions group. Both women come to the firm from Adecco and will join Volt’s senior leadership team.

Schultz most recently was senior VP, global program management at Adecco’s Pontoon business, responsible for global management services, RPO and statement of work solutions. She began her career with Manpower and then moved to Adecco, where she held various leadership roles including senior VP leading two business units: Ajilon IT Consulting and Adecco Technical/Medical & Sciences/Energy and Government Services. From 2009 to 2014, she was global president of Yoh, which is Day & Zimmermann’s US-based staffing firm.

Griffin began her 25-year staffing career at Tad Resources International, which was acquired by Adecco. Most recently, she was the senior VP of Adecco’s North Central division, where she led sales, account management, recruitment and operations. The division – which targets commercial staffing, central delivery, and on-site operations — counts $825 million in revenue and more 500 employees across 15 states focused on commercial staffing, central delivery, and on-site operations.

Volt last month formed a strategic solutions group and a global solutions group; in June, the company announced it was evaluating potential strategic alternatives and President and CEO Michael Dean left the company.

Having the requisite talent in place is perhaps the most important part of the company’s effort to improve the organization, according to Linda Perneau, Volt’s interim president and CEO.

“Lori and Lauren are proven industry leaders with demonstrated success in building strong teams, driving revenue and producing positive outcomes,” Perneau said. “I am confident that these executives are the right leaders — both on a personal and professional level — to deliver on our strategy.”
