Virginia staffing company files for bankruptcy protection (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

Excel Staffing Services Inc. in Richmond, Va., filed a bankruptcy petition Monday with the US Bankruptcy Court, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported. The staffing agency, also known as Excel Management Services Inc., listed estimated assets of $100,001 to $500,000 and estimated liabilities in the same dollar range. It filed a Chapter 11 petition, which gives the company protection from creditors while it reorganizes.
