Human cloud ride-sharing firm Uber said its net loss, excluding employee stock compensation and other items, narrowed to $708 million in the first quarter from $991 million in the fourth quarter, Reuters reported. Reuters reports Uber also announced its head of finance, Gautam Gupta, is leaving the human cloud firm in July to join another startup in San Francisco. He is one of about a dozen top executives who have left Uber since February.
