Uber Technologies Inc. will be able to continue operations in London after a judge on Tuesday overturned a ban and granted the ride-sharing firm probationary license with conditions, CNBC reported. A shorter, 15-month license would enable Uber and the regulatory agency to "test out the new arrangements,” Judge Emma Arbuthnot said after the ruling. The regulatory agency Transport for London accused Uber last year of showing a “lack of corporate responsibility” in relation to “public safety and security,” and failed to renew Uber’s license, although it has been allowed to continue its business in London while it appealed last October’s ban.
