Bloomberg reported Friday that it appears a judge will not likely put a quick stop to AB 5, California’s get-tough bill on independent contractor misclassification, in a lawsuit brought by human cloud firms Uber Technologies Inc. and Postmates Inc. The two companies had sought a preliminary injunction to protect their drivers from misclassification.
