USCIS and Department of Justice sign deal to investigate alleged immigration fraud (Lexology)

US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division signed a memorandum of understanding that expands their collaboration to “better detect and eliminate fraud, abuse, and discrimination by employers bringing foreign visa workers to the United States.” The expansion of information sharing likely will lead to more investigations, audits and worksite visits, writes Amy Peck of Jackson Lewis PC in a Lexology blog post.
