TrustPoint acquires legal staffing firm in mid-Atlantic region

May 08, 2014

Atlanta-based TrustPoint International, a provider of legal technologies and services, acquired PartnerJD, a legal staffing firm headquartered in Richmond, Va. The acquisition expands TrustPoint’s eDiscovery and legal staffing expertise and extends its footprint in the Richmond, Va., and mid-Atlantic markets.

The transaction closed April 28 and terms were not disclosed.

PartnerJD will be known as PartnerJD, a TrustPoint International Company, and operate as a distinct business unit. Jamie Shields, previously PartnerJD's managing partner, and Rob Hunter, previously partner and general counsel, remain with the company as directors of southeastern sales.

“PartnerJD is a regional leader in the delivery of eDiscovery staffing services and we are excited to have them become part of the TrustPoint network of companies as they immediately enhance our expertise and extend our ability to support clients,” said TrustPoint International CEO Mark Hawn.

Atlanta-based TrustPoint International is currently organized into three specific business units: eDiscovery, legal staffing and managed services. It operates 15 national offices and eight national review centers.
