Truck driver shortage could drive wages up 40% (Trucks.com)

Trucks.com reports that after years of stagnant wages, truckers look to be in line for several years of strong income growth as the major motor carriers scramble for drivers. Driver wages could climb 30% to 40% over the next two years, said Eric Fuller, chief executive of US Xpress, a 7,400-truck motor carrier.
