Triple Crown Consulting, a Texas-based provider of engineering talent, announced a minority growth investment from WestView Capital Partners, a growth equity firm based in Boston.

Founded in 2004 by David Smith, Sabatino Guerriero and Padma Sunkara, Triple Crown provides pre-vetted engineering candidates to technology companies and supports its clients’ internal semiconductor and silicon-related research and development initiatives. It appeared on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list.

“We are excited to partner with WestView for Triple Crown’s next chapter and strongly believe that their experience backing other high-growth specialized staffing businesses will be valuable to us going forward,” said Smith, CEO and co-founder of Triple Crown.

WestView Capital Partners is focused on middle-market growth companies and manages $2.7 billion in capital across five funds.

Jonathan Hunnicutt, managing partner at WestView, will join Triple Crown’s board of directors.
