Trio Clinical Research, a Raleigh, N.C.-based provider of clinical staffing, is changing its name to Trio Clinical Resourcing.

The name underscores the company's new focus on clinical staffing for biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device clients.

Trio had provided clinical trials management services prior to its merger with other biopharmaceutical companies to form Aptiv Solutions. The clinical trials management portion of the business now resides with the parent company, Aptiv.
