Trillium Staffing acquired Tampa, Fla., based Roy’s Staffing Inc., effective Feb. 5. Trillium reported the acquisition marks the largest expansion into the hospitality staffing and event staffing sector for the Trillium Hospitality brand, which provides servers, bartenders, chefs, cooks, supervisors, leads and other positions.

Roy’s Staffing, founded in 2011 by Roy Kulp, provides strategic and event staffing in the Southern region. The former Roy’s Staffing Inc. will be led by Regional VP Nadine Garvin, with Kulp leading sales and client relations efforts. Employee relations and recruiting will continue to include Staffing Coordinator Dulce Maurer in addition to the expanding recruitment team.

“The compilation of diverse client companies, talented field staff, and dynamic internal staff made Roy’s Staffing Inc. a great addition to the Trillium brand,” Trillium CEO René Poch said. “We look forward to expanding our business in hospitality and event staffing.”

The Trillium brand of companies is privately owned by Poch and provides recruitment and staffing services through its divisions, including: Trillium Staffing, Trillium Construction Services, Trillium Driver Solutions, Trillium Marine, Trillium Technical, Trillium Environmental, Trillium Hospitality and Trillium Techs.

The Trillium brand counts approximately 98 offices nationwide and nearly 400 internal recruitment professionals. It ranks No. 25 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest industrial staffing firms in the US.
