TriNet Group Inc. (NYSE: TNET) announced Richard Beckert joined the professional employer organization as senior VP of finance. He will be appointed CFO immediately following the filing of TriNet’s first-quarter earnings report.

Current VP and CFO Bill Porter in October announced his plans to retire. He will continue as TriNet’s CFO until Beckert’s appointment and then transition into an advisory role.

Beckert will lead all aspects of the finance function and report directly to President and CEO Burton Goldfield. He most recently served as executive VP and CFO at CA Technologies (NASD: CA) where he led a team of more than 1,000 professionals in running all accounting and reporting, treasury, risk management, tax, real estate and internal audit processes. Earlier at CA, Beckert was senior VP and corporate controller; prior to that role, he was senior VP of strategic pricing for CA.
