A travel nurse from Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN) has just been placed on her 100^th assignment,  the company reported on Friday. Caridad Atienza, a pediatric nurse, is now on assignment at a hospital in Bakersfield, California.

Cross Country reported this is the first time one of its travel nurses has reached 100 assignments.

Atienza has been with the company since 1992. She has worked at hospitals in Texas, Florida and California, and she has been at some assignments for nearly five years.

“We are extremely honored Caridad recognizes Cross Country Healthcare’s commitment to her and her profession and that she has entrusted us throughout the years,” President and CEO Kevin Clark said. “We are also very proud of her for reaching this milestone and look forward to placing her on her next 100 assignments.”
