Toyota Mexico cautioned of possible recruitment fraud in an announcement on its website. It reported that scammers are requesting payments from candidates as part of the purported hiring process and are requesting personal information as well. However, the company says it never requests payments from candidates as part of its recruitment process.

It also said the only way for job seekers to become employed by Toyota Mexico is via direct contact with the company or through its recruitment business partners.
