TikTok is becoming a popular platform for companies to advertise open job roles and reach younger people, such as Gen Z and millennials, Erin Lazarus, director of solution architects at SHL, told CNBC. Companies can engage influencers to promote open roles and provide authentic insights about work, as influencers have credibility and trust with their audiences, making them an effective way to reach a more targeted audience. According to Lazarus, influencers can advertise a company’s recruiting efforts through short videos, sound bites on podcasts and adverts in newsletters.
