The Adecco Group acquires online staffing platform Vettery

February 20, 2018

The Adecco Group, the world’s largest staffing firm, acquired Vettery, a New York-based online recruitment platform for professional permanent recruitment. TechCrunch, citing an unnamed source, said the price was a little over $100 million.

“The acquisition of Vettery accelerates the development of the Adecco Group’s digital strategy, broadening our offering into the fast-growing digital permanent recruitment market and complementing our professional recruitment businesses,” the Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze said.

Adecco’s other digital HR platforms include Adia, which was launched last year.

Vettery’s digital marketplace platform hosts more than 4,000 employers and candidates across the IT, sales and finance verticals. It launched in 2014 and now operates in seven major US metropolitan areas.

Co-founders of Vettery, Brett Adcock and Adam Goldstein, will continue to lead the business within the Adecco Group, reporting to John Marshall, regional head of North America, UK and Ireland - professional staffing.
