Terra Staffing Group acquired ASG Staffing Inc., a staffing provider headquartered in Bensenville, Illinois. Founded in 1995, ASG provides industrial workers to businesses in the manufacturing, food manufacturing, light industrial and warehouse industries. The deal closed July 21.

The acquisition will give Terra 10 additional offices in the Midwest. 

“ASG adds a strong Midwest presence to Terra and aids us in the goal to become a nationwide staffing provider,” Hastings Equity Partners principal Grant Reckhow said in a press release. Terra is a portfolio company of Hastings.  

As part of the deal, ASG’s existing senior leadership team will remain with the firm. 

“My team and I believe in the growth of our organization, and we have found that Terra and Hastings share the same enthusiasm for the staffing industry,” ASG Staffing’s founder Chuck Porcelli said. 

Terra is based in Everett, Washington, and provides staffing in the industrial, consumer products, food and beverage and logistics industries.

Terms of the transaction were not announced. 

The move comes after Hastings announced its third Fund V platform investment in Terra Staffing Group in January.
