Temporary staffing hours worked in the US fell 10% year over year in the week ended April 22, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report released today.

Commercial staffing hours fell 13% year over year, while professional staffing hours fell 3%.

The trend of decreasing hours worked has similarities to the decline in temporary help employment as reported in the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ monthly Employment Situation reports.
