Temporary staffing hours worked in the US rose 0.3% in the week ended Oct. 7 compared to the week before, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Growth was all in the professional staffing segment, where hours worked rose by 3.1%. Hours worked fell in commercial staffing.

On a year-over-year basis, staffing hours worked were down in both professional and commercial staffing.
